remnant accumulation

The Union 36 loom dates back to the 1900s and was once a source of supplemental income for a blue-collar farming family. The loom on display in the gallery has been passed down through three generations of women to Debbie Quick. She uses it to explore the legacy of women's labor, place, and class by creating an ever-expanding amount of rag rug yardage that covers the floor of space.
